Tucker Trail Riders

Gillian larson

Gillian Larson is a true long rider and backcountry adventurer, having traveled more than 14,500 miles on horseback through some of the most rugged and untouched landscapes in the United States. Her passion for wilderness and her deep partnership with her horses have carried her across mountain ranges, deserts, and forests—often in places where few people ever venture.

A seasoned endurance rider, Gillian has completed the epic journey from Mexico to Canada four times, tracing the wild spine of the country along backcountry trails. These journeys are not just about the miles—they are about testing the limits of resilience, building unbreakable bonds with her equine teammates, and experiencing the land in its most raw and authentic form.

Her life on the trail is defined by self-reliance, grit, and an unshakable love for the wilderness. Whether pushing through storms, navigating remote backcountry, or savoring the quiet beauty of a sunrise in the high mountains, Gillian rides to immerse herself in the untamed spirit of the land—and to share that spirit with others.

travis defibaugh

Travis Defibaugh of Renegade Farms lives at the intersection of horsemanship and the rugged outdoors. Based in the mountains of Utah, Travis blends his love of horses with his passion for hunting, often combining the two in the time-honored tradition of hunting on horseback.

For Travis, horses are more than companions—they’re essential partners in exploring wild country, carrying him deep into remote backcountry where few ever go. His days are marked by the rhythm of the trail, the challenge of the hunt, and the freedom of life lived close to the land. Whether riding through mountain passes or tracking game in untouched wilderness, Travis embodies the spirit of the American West—self-reliant, adventurous, and deeply connected to nature.

At Renegade Farms, his work reflects this way of life: a balance of horsemanship, tradition, and respect for the land that sustains both rider and horse.
